Rough mileage covered so far for 2011 in the Vito Sport?

Only 10K-ish so far. The last Vito I did 40K on the Bike Tour so this one will need to prepare itself for a tough ‘Tour of Duty’

Radio, iPod or CD?

Predominantly Radio 4 with a spattering of Ipod

What’s the largest item you’ve transported in your Vito Sport?

My Dog George – he’s a giant Old English Mastiff and loves travelling in the Vito, there’s a perfect space for him between the front seats. He can see the World passing buy.

What’s the strangest item you’ve transported in your Vito Sport?

The Bike Tour equipment is pretty strange really. Not many people transport a giant riding course around in their van. Other than that I’d say Sam Pilgrim is a weird thing to have in your van.

Favourite thing about the Vito Sport?

My current Vito Sport is very pimp, leather interior and Rad Brabus wheels. In fact it has everything I need to travel the distance i do in perfect comfort. I do like the wheels but as a complete package this current Vito Sport is simple awesome.

Favourite Vito Sport road trip snack?

I’m for ever stopping at services and picking-up a Flat White coffee and a small chocolate snack. That keeps me going.

Best road trip location so far?

We have had so many amazing trips on the Bike Tour so it’s hard to pick one. If I had to pick one so far I’d say our trip to Ireland for Sea Sessions last year was very memorable.

Funniest anecdote that’s happened in the vehicle?

Every mile travelled with Blake Samson sat beside me is very funny. We have some great laughs and talk such bullshit it’s unbelievable – together we are quite possibly the dumbest dumb asses ever!!

Strangest place you’ve taken the vehicle?

Every year we take the Tour to Windfest in Poole. Positioning the vehicles on the beach itself is always a challenge – i’m terrified the sea will come in and wash the Vito Sport away. I would not be happy.
